Hi Faithfulness!!

hows the week for everyone so far?
hope all is going well for you all!

reminder that this Sunday we're gonna do another 5 chapters of the book of Luke! so I REALLY HOPE (and expect) EVERYONE WILL READ chapters 10 - 14!

at the same time.. lets also review chapters 1 - 9.. esp spend time reading the Sermon on the Mount part..

** Benjamin! because you were not there..let me update you.. basically we went through chapter 1 -9 of Luke briefly.. we'll be reading the book as preparation for a Bible quiz at the end of the 4 sessions..

lets continue to keep each other in prayer! esp Chloe and Li Shan.. do give them a word of encouragement or two when you see them ya? =)

lastly.. don't let the blog die!!

Hi everyone!!

so so sorry i've been busy this week.. will try to compile and post food fare photos soon k!?

anyway.. thanks everyone for working so so hard during the Food Fair! CYM as a whole earned abt $1000 more than last year for the Methodist Welfare Services!! woohoo! .. can really see the team spirit and also can see how you guys have grown over the year.. =) i'm really happy!
so even though we didnt win any prizes this time round.. want you all to give yourselves and each other a well deserved pat on the back! we'll be back next year!

next year i hope to see everyone taking more initiative and doing more off the work! even the cooking! so from now.. maybe go and learn from someone! so that the leaders next year can take a small step back for you all to step up ..

lets continue to pray for Li Shan and Chloe.. as they are having big big exams coming up.. As and PSLE.. hope ENG Oral went well for you Chloe! =)

So to reward everyone for hard work.. we'll have outing!! but have to wait till Chloe finishes PSLE!

Hey guys,
sorry for the "no show" yesterday. i was very very sick. Had cough, bad (x100) flu, bodyache. i thought i would be well enough to go church yesterday, but when i woke up, i felt horrible :( im on the road to recovering. Pray that i'll recover COMPLETELY cos i was sick for half of last week. Thanks peeps! see you guys soon :)

Hey dearies.. sorry I am not in church today. Not feeling well and my whole body is aching.. (Must be the race I did yesterday.. which was actually fun coz I got to meet international peeps!) Anyway I bought like red cloth and black cloth for our banner yesterday! Whee! :) I buy more red cloth for our capes. All of us will wear black tops and jeans and we have capes.

Saturday - Stay over at Liangfu's house to do preparation
More details later and please ask permission! And tell us if you can come on saturday.

Things we need to do for decoration
(If I put your name beside it.. you go do it ah by saturday!)
1) Find out information on Methodist Welfare Society (Marvin)
2) Menu... bring markers,colourpencils (Alex and Chloe)
3) Lucky draw box ... just find some random shoe box or anything (Hannah)
4) Bring scissors and any decorative thing that is useful i.e construction paper(Marcus and Benjamin)
5) Think of cheesy ways to promote our stuff (EVERYONE)

Hi Faithfulness!!

I'll be away this weekend! Going on a 2 day trip to Malacca with my family.. while i'm away.. Stacy will be facilitating the bible study (LYING).. and Rita will coordinate the preparation for food fair!!

Pls ask permission to stay behind for a while after CG!! Rita might have some work for us to do..

I know that this week has been a many-many-tests week for many of u rite? =) hope everything went well..

pray for the korean hostages okay.
Please pray for the korean christians in afghanistan who were doing volunteer work in the hospital. Please pray for them and message/spread to as many people to strenghten them and turn the situation around. Pass this prayer chain.God Bless.
Holy Bible tells us that "with favour, God surrounds us as with a shield", as per Psalms 5:12.
pray that God will protect the korean hostages, and will turn the
situation around. :D
yes, the facts state that it would be impossible because the afghanistans do not want to succumb to the taliban people, but we know that YOU can change facts, God. Everything is ultimately, in Your hands, and we know that You will protect these people, as Jesus died on the cross for them, to be everything of theirs, and they are perfect through Jesus Christ, including their safety, and since their safety is perfect through You, they will be protected under the Holy "H" of Yours. in Jesus' name, Amen!
